Hello All Researchers,
When working with cells, we often want them to adhere to the plate—but not to pipettes or tubes.
Cell adhesion to the inner walls of pipettes or tubes can lead to cell loss, which is a significant issue.
To prevent adhesion to these inner surfaces, specialized coatings are effective.
CSCRIE is now offering a new serological pipette and centrifuge tube with low-adhesion property, called “Low Cell Attachment Pipette and Centrifuge Tube”.
The Low Cell Attachment Pipette and Centrifuge Tube are treated with Prevelex, a biomaterial attachment prevention coating agent developed by Nissan Chemical Corporation.
Our validation resulted that uncoated pipettes shows an adhesion rate of 48.22%, however, the coated pipettes reduce adhesion dramatically to just 0.54%!
This allows for maximum utilization of valuable cells.

To maximize efficiency in cell culture, we highly recommend using our Low Cell Attachment Pipette and Centrifuge Tube.
